An offshoot of the TRANSNATIONAL HISPANIOLA II: Bodies, Commodities, Cultures and Regimes of Mobility conference held at Rutgers University April 12-15, 2012, this essay describes the project led by a collection of scholars, including CCS affiliate Carlos Decena and CCS fellow Yveline Alexis, to hold a three-part workshop on Haitian-Dominican relations that examines the daunting challenge of reframing scholarly and activist debates on Haitian and Dominican knowledge production and pedagogy. The essay can be found in Radical History Review 115 Winter 2103.
