This is is a one-day interdisciplinary symposium on the future of immigration detention.
Join us for a timely symposium at Rutgers University where we will shed light on the social history of Elizabeth Detention Center and its location in New Jersey's political economy and in the changing landscapes of immigration detention in the United States.
The symposium features both academic, policy, detainee, and activist perspectives on the challenges surrounding immigrant detention in New Jersey and the United States.
